I have recently started using Insulin injections, I started putting it into my stomach and now find it easier in upper legs.
Wherever I inject it becomes very itchy and rather lumpy. The itching doesn't go away and the lumpy bits stay for days. Anyone else have the same issues and did you find an answer. Cheers Alan

I started insulin at the end of May and still get exactly the same symptoms sometimes. Some injections go really well while others may cause itching and small lumps.

Hopefully we will get some suggestions from others.

Not being able to eat as many chocolate digestives as I used to.
Are there localised reactions at injection sites? Redness, rashes or worse?

Which insulin(s) are you using?

Please see your DSN. It maybe the brand of insulin/your injecting technique but you won’t know till you sit with your DSN.

I use Trulicity 1.5 mg once a week, injected into the side of the thigh, and have no adverse reactions.
Hope this is helpful.
