Hey everyone,

I had dinner yesterday around 8:30pm and 2 hours later my bg was 6.6. I then woke up at 4am to a bg of 20. How is this possible? I didn’t eat anything afterwards

As you can see there could be a few possibilities.....

High fat meal, digestion issues, dose error, dodgy site or dare I say it, a one off with no explanation....;)

It happens and every now and then.. i had a chicken burger meal and half a mcflurry. I injected in my stomach. Perhaps the fat is the reason??

Was it just a McDonald's chicken burger and chip then?

That goes through me quite quickly even though you would expect it not too......processed you see....

I would definitely give it another go and see what happens :)....

What was your carb count? A burger and large chips usually comes in at about 100g, then add the McFlurry..

I had the burger elsewhere i don’t think it makes any difference though..

Im sure i gave myself enough insulin so i am very confused.. especially because it was okay 2 hours later

Could you be coming down with something? Sometimes I find an inexplicable high can be a sign of some impending lurgy and it all makes sense once I get symptoms.
