Contaminated Metformin?

Yup, this just supports why I avoid drugs even if a doctor tells me I need them, unless it is the last resort or to avoid imminent death. My dr told me I couldn't reduce my blood sugar without at least metformin and although I have still a ways to go within 4-5 weeks of mostly just a diet change I have gone from blood sugar levels averaging close to to 300 mg/DL to now in the 140s. It's like telling someone with nut allergies that they need to take a drug, instead of "why can't I just simply not eat nuts?" I hope that others who might be late in their diabetes game are able to get access to safe metformin but honestly feel like a better diet and lifestyle can help just about anyone as the primary solution - not drugs.
