I have seen 2 doctors and they both said I meet the standards of my class 2 license and dvla has come back with I carry a risk of hypoglycaemia and impaired awareness of hypoglycaemia. Both doctors has been through my blood sugars Machines test 4 times a day and I am aware of my hypo symptoms I meet the standards never needed someone to help me with a hypo. So I got the letter and was on the phone to my doctors straight away and he called dvla supporting My medical saying I know my hypo symptoms that’s not good enough for dvla so my doctor is going to write to them and they will decide for there. I am a type 1 diabetic and I feel like they are discriminating me.
