Good day I hear avocados are good for Diabetics Can I eat a small one every day or half of a big one
I have been eating a small one every day but haven’t noticed if it’s affected my blood sugar readings What has your forum readers experienced ??

They have no discernable effect on BG for me, large or small. I've never eaten more than one at any meal

I eat half of a medium avocado and I don't get a spike from it. It's good.

I eat a whole one a day and it has no affect. Very low carb.

They are simply a low carb food but also oily. I eat them maybe once a week as part of a lower carb higher fat diet.

For me they're an essential part of my LCHF diet in that together with olives they are an excellent source of low carb plant based oils - as such I don't expect them to have any real impact on my glucose levels. I eat them regularly, often use avocado oil in salads or occasionally for cooking, and have recently discovered avocado based mayonnaise. :hungry:
