T2s: What was your fasting BG this morning, and what did you eat yesterday?

You don't give BS/BG readings throughout the day, surely all of the fruit, orange juice, sweet potato, coconut (maybe not), cashews spikes it irrelevant of what supposed carbs
I don't measure after every meal any more. After a year without any readings outside the non-diabetic range an a HbA1c 0f 32 I largely gave it up.
I still measure every 2nd morning (usually 5.30am) and every 3rd evening (usually 6pm, before dinner) to make sure that my background levels don't change. I do also check sometimes after a meal that is higher in carbs than usual. For example, last time I had risotto (about 60g of carbs), my BG was well under 5 two hours after eating.
If my background readings rise, or I have another reason to do so, I will test more but don't have any reason to really. All readings well in non-diabetic range for 3 years now.

I believe that moderate carbs and exercise is a better alternative than LCHF. It certainly works for me, and may do for some others too.

you've put it into remision then, well done !
I was told I could never be Not Diabetic, like an Alcoholic once one always one
Yes doctors do say that. Mine told me that I would always be diabetic whatever results I got because if I regained the 7 stones that I lost my BG might go up again!!
I suppose that by that logic my broken leg isn't cured either as if I hit it with a hammer it might break again.

Doctors receive additional funding under the QOF (Quality and Outcomes Framework) for diabetics on their books, so will never admit to a cure as this will cost them funding. They are also given extra for 17 other conditions and this is open to serious abuse.
For example, I am classed as having hypertension as I once had a BP reading of 140/90 when I had a heavy cold. My BP has been 100/60 for several years, but I am prescribed meds to lower my blood pressure. I refuse to take these as they are not necessary so am listed as an uncooperative patient.
(Actually it is more amicable than that sounds, he offers me the drugs, I say no thanks and he explains that he has to record that I was offered them but refused, to cover himself.)

So according to my medical records I am diabetic and hypertensive (HbA1c 33 last time/ BP 98/61 last time), earning the practice additional funds to cover the fact that I am so sick! My annual medical is the only contact that I have, though the practice nutritionist regularly contacts me to give me advice (I met her once and would estimate her BMI to be well north of 35).

Only one thing i can rely on for Breakfast is Oven cooked Omelette. Got most of vegetables like Peppers for C Vitamin, mushrooms for D vitamin, Mozzarella cheese, butter, eggs all remaining herbs. Some times adds asparagus, okra etc..

I wish it is Dark chocolate omelette.
