Night Sweats

Hi All

Over the last few weeks I've been waking up at least once a night soaked in cold sweats. At first I thought that I must have been having hypos but I have been testing myself when I wake up in the middle of the night and my bloods aren't low. Plus it would seem unlikely that I could be having hypos every night. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hypos, rude people, ignorance and grey days.
Hi @LDN1985

As you've said hypos are typical for causing night sweats but if your meter is reporting that your glucose levels are fine then that rules these out, however it would be common to have hypos every night if your basal insulin ratio is off as there would be a pattern.

It would be worth getting checked over by your GP though to make sure everything else is tickety boo though.

I would discuss night sweats with your GP. It could be helpful to have you white blood count checked.
