took antibiotics and painkillers then was sick.
Am I right in thinking I now have to wait the full time as though body has kept them in in case some had been absorbed?

This isn’t really the sort of thing that forum members are able to answer.
Our forum rules prohibit giving medical advice, including specific advice on medication dosage.

so I have two suggestions for you.

Firstly, get the Patient Information sheet out of the packaging that came with your medication and see what it says about vomiting.
Then, if that doesn’t give you sufficient guidance, the ring the NHS helpline on 111 and ask your question there.

Sorry we cannot help you further here, and I hope you feel better soon.

Hope you don't have too long a wait, and start to feel better soon. Sending hugs. Take care.

Some painkillers taken on an empty stomach can make you feel sick, same with some antibiotics in my experience. Certainly not pleasant.

@woollygal

how are you doing now?
Hope the trip to A&E went ok and they could help you?

Hi pain is managed now they gave me diclofenic suppositories. Why dr didn’t give me those sat I’ll never know.
Problem is my LCHF food is just not making me want to eat. Feel sick at the thought.
Going to make emergency appt at the dr this morning to discuss food. If I do need extra painkillers o have to eat so need to know if I can have more bread stuff to at least line stomach etc.

got to go back for a scan over next couple days.

worst bit is cost £30 to get there in taxi and £68 back!!

Look up what painkillers you can take at the 'same time'. You can take certain different over the counter painkillers at the same time as others.

Again... no advice on actual medication (obviously!)
