I joined diabetes UK last January when I got the shock news that I was type2 diabetic. At the time I was shocked and angry, but after listening to advice on this forum I parked my anger and shock and decided to tackle my diabetes with everything I had.
Back in January my Hba1c reading was 53 and I weighed 16st 1lb.
Today I got the results of my recent blood test which confirmed my Hba1c number had gone down to 41. My weight has dropped from 16st 1Lb to 13st 11Lb a loss of 32Lb.
I’m sure I couldn’t of done this without the advice from members of this forum. Many Thanks
