Hi

Can someone please advise if Onken natural set yoghurt ok to have it? Does it increase BG?

Also do you think yoghurt is better than drinking milk?

What does it say on the back of the package? How many carbs per 100 gram?

Far from being the worst.. greek yoghurt is usually slightly lower carb depending on the brand.
Try it and test.
About the same carb percentage as milk so depends on the quantity.. I'll guess you eat less yoghurt than you drink milk.

I tend to buy the Waitrose own brand

https://www.waitrose.com/ecom/products/no1-natural-strained-greek-yogurt/836765-291542-291543

Or the Kri Kri for something a bit richer.

both are 3.7% carbs so slightly lower than the Onken (important when you are trying to reduce carbs as much as possible but fancy some yoghurt).

Where do you usually shop? All the major supermarkets list their products, and the nutritional content on their webpages. So if you just go to your usual shop's site, and search for plain yogurt, or greek yogurt, you can check both the ingredients and the carb content on there.

After that comes the fun part. You get to buy some of each and taste them to find your favourite. :D

Go for full fat and avoid any that say low fat. The ones I buy are 9.5% fat. Coop own brand, Morrisons or Yeo Valley.
