I would say they have to have ‘available carbs’ in them, otherwise where is the energy coming from? There’s only 4g protein/100g (16 Kcal) and no fat, so there’s a big shortfall there.
I wouldn’t eat them on the basis that the polyol is maltitol. As well as the laxative effect it also spikes my bgl. Other polyols such as erythritol don’t.
