Morning and happy Monday all. Mean and moody sky outside window and big drop in temperature. Awake early again. Numbers good. Busy week in store clearing, sorting and decorating two bedrooms. Both husband and I had an extra bedroom each, the only ones left to be decorated following our move in 6 years ago. Going to change husbands den into grandsons sleep over room and combine mine into a joint office/hobby/storage room. We had a massive clear out when we originally moved. Where has all this extra stuff now come from. Will need appointment for the tip-Never thought I’d say those words. Strange times!

Good morning all. Fresh winds still blustering here and the sun’s out. Looks like a good day apart from the beginning of the insulin power decline. Back to the morning booster for higher waking numbers as well as fotf, grrrr. I do so love the full power days!

On second thoughts, maybe it’s the weather making the morning sugars higher? My inner lion tamer’s got them down to a steady 4.9 on the Libre, which is a pretty accurate one this time.
Have a good day all, be safely, happily naughty.

Aye good morning and a bit wet here too, sugar soaping the errant ceiling at the moment, bloods are good and a knee aches for a reality check but that may have been to wobbling away to a northern soul tune on't radio whilst balanced on a step up :p

Plays some good tunes does Ken Bruce on Radio 2 :) so I'm getting to do the 'ooh ooh ooh' bits to 'You're the one that I want' from Grease :p :p

Edit, the ex (or the youngest's mum) told me to grow up yesterday too :)

Morning all, veery busy day yesterday with dog walking, dog training, collecting shopping, going to a garden centre (yay go me - the first shop I've been in since this all started!) experimental cooking - day disappeared. Readjusting to non-hot weather insulin (one of the fab things about this place is that no-one who's not an insulin user gets how b****y frutrating it is to have keep b****y fiddling with it - but you all do!) and mostly getting it right but a couple of highs I'd've preferred to avoid. And rain forecast for today which will banjax my plans to do things with some of my garden purchases yesterday.

Hope you all get the weather you want, the music you want to wreck knees/ankles/hips/backs to, the full-on insulin effect, and the nice steady bgs we'd all like!

Mornin’ all. Too right, @hh1, sometimes it’s just a bl****y pain in the j*****e. After a week of dose fiddle easing, last night made up for it with an extended low that depleted the jelly baby stock like a lockdown easing pub crawl. That and colder nights knee ache to compound the low blood sugar cramps.
Well, if that’s got all the T1 gremlins gathered together in one night to get it over with for the next few weeks I’ll take it. But, we know this thing doesn’t play nicely.
Hope today goes better for all.
Hope the weather allows for a bit of garden stuff, even though there are no new purchases here, just a net to put over a bit of seed sowing. I’m putting stuff in that I hope will sprout, won’t be eaten by slugs and pigeons, and will feed us a bit of fresh picked veg later in the year. I get the feeling that we oldies may be spending longer making the most of our patch than was first anticipated.
What’s the music today @kev-w?
Who’s getting out for non-essential shopping?

Good morning, woke with a little spike and overwaited eating after a jab so a little low too but am ok now :p.

Painting the ceiling this morning with the undercoat that peeled and bubbled last time so a little nervous as I don't fancy sanding again, @Fairygodmother music's going to be a Creedance Clearwater Revival greatest hits album when I get cracked on I think although I seem to work faster to Stiff Little Fingers if I'm plastering or hammering things :p but that'll be after Pop master :).

Of late I've been watching 'The Professionals' (Bodie & Doyle) on an evening, a blast from the past as I've driven a lot of the cars that you see on it :) it even had a Vauxhall Viva on it last night which was the first make of car I owned.

Sorry @kev-w I do actually like them - forced by my brothers to listen to them in my youth.

And here’s one for all the men who’re waiting for hairdressers to open again. The first bit sounds a little creepy these days: apologies.

We saw Credence Clearwater Revival which was the drummer who collected some people and he got a singer that sounded like Fogerty. It was pretty good. Between 10-20 years ago there was an Indian Casino in California that had a 1200 seat auditorium that they would have the oldies groups at so you were never that far away from the stage. I got really spoiled as we would watch for groups to come up. Then the older groups really caught on so they stopped going there pretty much because it was such a small venue. Moody Blues, Beach Boys etc but The Doors were one the best they had a look alike Jim Morrison that sounded just like him (2005). Ian Ashbury who was also the lead singer for The Cult.

Insulin has been almost like water today, No reason I know of except of course there doesn't have to be any reason to it.

It's weird Marie 2, because the last 2 days when it's been cooler and I'd have expected to need more insulin, I've had nothing but long and bad hypo's since I used a new bottle of insulin to fill my insulin pump cartridge. It's got to the point I'm eating a meal of 40g of carbs and no insulin!!!! when normally I'd need minimum of 4 units of Fiasp.
I remember a study done in America testing the strength of different bottles of the same insulin, which found that there was a lot of difference in the strength between batches. There were calls for this to happen in the uk, but I don't think it ever happened.

Hope you all have a good day, and your insulin starts to work Marie 2. Maybe worth trying a new bottle/cartridge/pen.
Hope your bg's stay steady today hh1, and everyone else.
Hope your hypo's stop Fairygodmother, jelly babies are nice occasionally, but not when constantly having to devour them. We must have been having a competition last night!!!! Alarms going now to say I'm going low again, sigh, maybe just have lunch and no insulin again.
Hey maybe I'm no longer diabetic!!! Wishful thinking.
