I’ve was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a few years ago now I’ve never taken any medication try my best to control it myself through exercise take my bloods quite regularly this morning’s fasting mmol was 7.1 I’ve had tests as low as 5.4 my question to all my fellow diabetics is there anyone’s out there who has suffered a positive Covid test I’ve had symptoms since 21st October got a positive test on Saturday and up-to now don’t feel to bad can I expect to get any worse or can I escape with just mild symptoms

It's normal for blood sugars to rise when you have an infection. As a T1, I expect to have to take more insulin when ill.
