I am currently on Omnipod and have Freestyle Libre on prescription also. We're considering moving, and wonder what the rules/provision are in Wales around Insulin Pumps (especially Omnipod) and Libre on prescription. Can anyone tell me please?

Also, do you have experience of Type 1 care in Wales (especially Newport/Abergavenny)? How would you rate it?

I live in north wales and as like the rest of the UK -- which pumps are provided is individual by each hospital health board--- my trust provides omnipod , tandem t-slim and medtronic
my hospital are good in terms of support and libre is widely available
perhaps it might be an idea to contact the Aneurin Bevan health board which covers the newport area and abergavenny area

The team in the Royal Gwent in Newport are brilliant. Dr Oboubie is one of the leading pump specialist in the country. All the DSNs are very knowledgeable
