Hello didn’t want to start a new thread but do people who follow low carb also do high fat?
If you just lower your carbs then you are likely to feel hungry, solve this by eating some foods with fat which don't raise your blood sugar. Some people approach this in the opposite direction by purposely eating a lot of fat so that the don't feel the need for carbohydrates.

Which food can be eaten for high fat
Look at the lists at the start of the thread as that's what they're intended for - they include suggestions for all types of LCHF foods; but for example: fattier cuts of meat, chicken with skin on, oily fish, full fat dairy - cream, cheese, yoghurt, & butter, olives, avocados, olive, avocado & coconut oils, nuts and unsweetened nut butters...

Look too at the nutritional content labelling on foods & drinks, or check them on supermarket web sites, they'll give information on fat content (choose high %) and carbs (choose low %).

Such a great and helpful list!

I made my own video about my top snacks that are low carb with some info about them. Hope that can help anyone who loves to snack just like me :D

Any snacks you feel I missed? Always looking for more ideas!

Thank you for this list it is a great help. Unfortunately I don't eat poultry of any kind nor fish (fish fingers!). I am not overly keen on vegetables about a couple of tablespoons at a time. I have under active thyroid and on meds for that, I am limited in my exercise due to an ankle injury. I have been trying to lose weight but nothing is happening. My diet is porridge with flax seed and blueberries with a cup of tea. Snack mid morning apple, tea, and maybe a couple of crackers with butter. Lunch soup and 2 slices of Lidl Low GI seeded bread, sometimes with a couple of slices of hard cheese followed with a yogurt lowest sugar I can find. Afternoon is tea, banana not too ripe and if very hungry rich tea x2. Dinner could be steak sausages with baked beans and a couple of potatoes boiled in their jackets followed by tea and a small slice of cake I find this is the hardest part of the day. Then I stay out of kitchen rest of evening after clearing dishes etc. My other half makes a cup of tea and it's either rich tea x 2 or a slice of Brennan's brown bread which is 60 Cal's and low carb spread with peanut butter thinly. Any advice advice on what to change would be great.

Wow little wonder you struggle with your blood sugar most of the food you eat is high in carbs.High carbs turn to blood glucose very quickly. You need to research which food is high carbs and sugar.you will be surprised which is high in carbs.
Good luck

I had my results back and its 48, it was 46 last year , I struggle with depression and anxiety, but on the bright side lost 2lbs lol so not too bad. I've started with lower carb and I am feeling good . I did some experimenting , I made pasta alternative with eggs. I just made about 8 eggs whisked put it on the hob with butter and made omelette, then what I did was cut it into strips or cubes whatever suits you , then add some salt and put the Bolognese sauce on top, I make the sauce with minced pork onions and mushrooms , i use passata , you can add garlic and other herbs depending on taste . This may not work for you , but for me it really works and this makes two servings for me and hubby .
I am going to experiment with making some chocolate today , because I am sensitive to very dark chocolate I am going to try and make some milk chocolate . I'm going to melt dark cholate then add some full fat milk and pour it into some moulds . I'll see how that goes . Milk doesn't seem to spike me so it might work well . I'll post back if it is successful :)

It's a great post. Here's one diet for KETO geeks:

Egg Salad (Serves 5 | Total carbs: 1g)

Ingredients:
1/3 cup of finely minced white onion
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
9–12 large eggs
1-teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
2 tablespoons melted butter
1-teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
Boil eggs & peel them
chop eggs into 1/2 or 1/4 inch pieces.
Add the remaining ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve
