Type of diabetes
Type 1
Treatment type
Insulin
Seems like a Type 1 to me, or maybe LADA as your C-Peptide is in normal range yet, but with high BG. I bet C-Peptide can go on lower side as long as blood sugar is normal (happened to me while in honeymoon period). Probably you will get a honeymoon period when your blood glucose will be close to normal while requring less insulin or not insulin at all. Also GAD antibodies aren't the only T1 or LADA specific antibodies as myself I had no GAD

For normal insulin secretion up to 4 years, and antibodies at a normal rate , All this can be said that I am type 1

If you have had normal insulin secretion it is cerainly a good sign that you'll require less amounts of insulin and it will help you manage your diabetes better. There is also a small chance of MODY, but I dont know a lot about it and I believe it requires a family member to have it aswell. All in all, you're not T2, t2 is high BG high C-Peptide
