Hello everyone!
So I have a fast question regarding a1c and risk of complications. I had an a1c test yesterday done at my doc , he was just curious about my last month as I went more to events and parties(post covid vaccine) and been eating more carby junkfood and sweets. A1c came up to 5.2%. My question is , does having a normal a1c reduce the risks of complications to the same as those without diabetes? Or does just having diabetes raise your risk ?
