@Lamont D how you feeling now? Better I hope.

Take care

Hi @hankjam I'm a little better, pain not so severe but it's a bit of a nagging stabbing pain.
Hopefully, if I can get past this, I'm only eating light meals, in case it is a stomach issue, that hasn't shown itself yet. It is still tender to touch the skin around the area but not when I poke around.
Weird huh?

How you doing?
Do you feel a bit better?
Keeping an eye on your dicky ticker?

Keep safe mate

Cheers LD, hope you're still going in the right direction.

My ticker has settled to some extent, still throwing odd patterns. Been like this for years and it sometimes is uncomfortable. Not been able to get a clear idea from the docs as to what is actually going on.... so possibly, no change there.

Mrs HJ has found another lump in a breast, first one was removed 15 years ago. Went to Ninewells yesterday. Doc was ordering a CT scan even before the biopsy results are back... not sounding too good.

Take care

Hi HJ,
Sorry to here about Mrs HJ, hopefully if it is serious, you have got it early enough to treat it successfully.
Yes I'm improving, and I'm now only taking pain killers before bed.
Cheers LD, hope you're still going in the right direction.

I know that through my family suffering with all things heart health, you can only try and behave yourself, focus on how you can avoid causing more issues.
And keep taking the tablets.

Look after yourself, and hopefully United finish the season well.

Take care, keep safe.

Have your docs considered gastritis or other stomach issues? I had gallbladder removed a few years ago then out of the blue started moderate to severe stomach pains (similar to those I had pre gallbladder) with referred left shoulder pain. Had 2 ultrasounds bloods etc. Nothing showed up and two docs put it down to 'my operation'. After one particularly bad night of severe pain I spoke to a trainee GP the following day who said it was classic gastritis and prescribed omeprazole. Immediately referred pain disappeared and stomach pains reduced dramatically. Recently after persisting had a gastroscopy- camera in stomach which confirmed this. Sadly its chronic now - 2 years for a diagnosis which will take a while to clear up but at least I know what I'm dealing with and things are slowly improving.
Keep persisting until you get a diagnosis and hope you are feeling better soon.

Hi, The specialist recommended omeprazole to my GP, to relieve the pain around my stomach area. So I have been taking them and the pain though slowly diminished until about three days ago, it went away.
I have had many cameras in different places about my body, even since I was young.
I have had a camera in my stomach about fifteen years ago (twice, because the first didn't work) and the results were, that my gut bacteria was invaded(is that the right term) with heliocobacter pylori. Also a hiatus hernia. I have been checked since and I no longer have the bacteria or the hernia due to my diet and the antibiotics for the bacteria.
But, they had tests done and found absolutely nothing wrong with me except for wear and tear. I am completely healthy. Except for my brain! But that is slowly becoming easier to cope with.
Thanks for asking and I hope your operation doesn't effect you for to long.

Keep safe
