What a con 10.1

Diagnosed with T2 about 10 days ago. On Metformin, 500 x 2 per day.
HbA1C was 67 at that time.
With my new meter, my first readings last evening were 6.2 before dinner, 7.9 two hours after. Of course, I'll need a few days of readings to establish a rough average.

I'm with you today @PenguinMum 6.1 today. Looks like the Aldi gluten free chocolate bar treat I had, which is only supposed to be 5.something grams of carbs per bar is not something for me to try again. Bloods were still 6.7 four hours later. Forgot to test earlier, but dread to think what they may have been at the 2 hour point.

Hi everyone, I’m fairly new to all this only been diagnosed two weeks ago.

However have seen a drop in fbg from the mid 7s to now 6.5s! This is following a low carb approach.

So 6.5 today!

But yes can’t wait to be a regular on this as it’s really amazing how we all can support eachother!
