Following a CT Scan it has been reported that I have mild coronary artery calcification.
Can Type 2 Diabetes contribute to having calcified arteries ?

Hi William
The short answer is yes. Anything that damages the lining of the arteries such as smoking, drinking or higher blood sugars can lead to a calcification process.
The best explanations of this that I have heard come from Ivor Cummins aka The Fat Emperor on YouTube:
