It's not all about the song, the production is vital, it's about entertainment, and the British song was neither.
It's a glam rock show on a huge scale and the British organisation just don't get it.
Politics has nothing to do with Eurovision.
However brexit didn't help.

There was quite a few better songs than the winner but it seems rock is popular all over Europe.
And the British aren't!
