haha i was going to say 6 as its better but ive just read the spec and the only thing it doesn't seem to have is the ECG and o2 sensors.... so if they are not important and you want to save some money id say the SE
Well I’m assuming you only really need ecg if you already have heart issues and want to monitor. I’m not aware of any so can’t see how it would help.
You already said the o2 isn’t worth it,

the egg only checks for Afib not heart attacks so limited use for most

se has a slightly less powerful processor and slightly older heart rate sensor

https://www.apple.com/uk/watch/compare/

but i think if i was on a budget i think id go SE its almost the same as the 5 except the bigger screen

Great thank you.

if the only difference are those two things that’s a lot of money to any for things that aren’t going to be much use,

I’d probably go silver anyway,
And dear lord, the watch straps are so pricey.
I’m assuming compatible ones are ok?

Most are ok I quite like

The elasticated nylon solo loop at £5.83 on a popular auction site

I have about a dozen different straps which I use depending on my mood.. most cost 2 to 3 pound

Yea I’m a bit wary of the plastic ones as I think they’ll be very sweaty.
Thanks for the help

The sports ones with holes in are not to bad unless you react to silicone

But the one I said is a clone of the Apple one really nice and comfy and as it’s nylon it breaths well
