Ever since this really hot weather my husband's blood sugar has been up in the 9.8 region he's not eating anything different what can I do to help thanks

What is he usually?
Is he possibly snacking or grazing? Even with the same foods as normal he could still be higher if he's eating at different times, eating the same foods but over a longer period of time etc
Is he drinking enough water and not too much/any juice, squash etc?
Good news is the heat is due to break soon!

Yes, mine too, for 2-3 days at the start of the heat. As it's gone on they've drifted back to where they usually are - I guess the system takes a bit of time to adapt.
Stress (mental or physical) can cause elevated BG.
Lots of other things can also:
Lack of Sleep - likely for many of us right now.
Illness
Injury
Medication including statins and steroids.
