Keeping CGM dry while swimming

Hi

Please can anyone help us. My daughter has a Medtronic CGM sensor. She wants to take up swimming again.

First question are they fully waterproof.

Has anyone got any tips for keeping it dry or any coverings they use to keep it dry. Without ripping sensor off

I don’t know about the Medtronic, but I use a tegaderm dressing over my libre and it keeps it waterproof swimming for an hour.

All Abbot Libre sensors are fully waterproof. I go swimming 3 times a week and put nothing on top. One word of caution: I can only swim backstroke when I wear my Abbot Libre on my "inside" arm. When my sensor arm touches the lane rope even slightly, the sensor is ripped out. All other swim styles work fine.

Try putting it on inside of your arm , stops them being knocked off on door jams too
