i have spent the past three years blindly trying to work out what to do with my diabetes with very little support from my doctor.
last bloods reading was 8.1 so they increased metformin to 2x 550mg twice a day. couldnt cope with the nausia, sickness and everything else that went with it. now on 500 mg twice a day and gliclazide 80mg in a morning. by lunch time I have the shakes, measured bloods today and it is 2.1. not sure if this is new reaction to change of medication or if i need to go to docs again (although they make me feel i am being fussy)
any advice?
