Libre….strange situation

Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this.

I use the libre2 with the libre app, and running alongside it I use diabox calibrated to give me a better correlation to blood sugar readings.

this morning after 6 days of use my libre app came up with an error message saying the sensor isn’t working and I need to replace it. Not unusual I’ve had several sensors stop early.

but here’s the odd bit…..diabox is still running and shows me the sensor is working perfectly. Readings are exactly where I expect them to be at this time of the morning.

I will have to replace the sensor or I won’t get any data in libre view and so I’ve reported the faulty one to Abbott. I didn’t tell them about diabox though as I don’t want a telling off for using an unlicensed app!

What’s diabolical? My phone won’t support the libra app.

Diabox is another app which can read and present data from the libre 2. It provides a current and continuous readout via blootooth, but you still need to be able to scan the sensor using The usual method to initially connect it.
