Me too! x I have been unable to get in to this forum for the last few days - I kept getting a server error - I don't know if anyone else has had the same but it seems to be working fine todayI do hope you are pleasantly surprised and that you do feel OK after the booster.
Many a tune played on an old fiddle. Obviously no idea what that means, read it on a t shirt. Maybe Mrs Miggins could explain? Don't ask the Tilehurst oracle he'll have an equation involving the angle of the dangle times the length of the strength all over the speed of the deed. Sounds like too much overthinking to meR
I now need to figure out what I shall do with all that extra time if I take to my bed at 8pm.
@dogslife thank you for the good wishes forEnjoy your well earned holiday@ianpspurs.
Greetings to each and everyone one of you. I do so hope cheering Team D on is still within the Ts and Cs of the small print. Reckless abandon not to Swipe left, right, up or down? The D ain't always the biggest, baddest monster in the woods folks. According to @dunelm's reading staying up past 10,00 am is a no no. I'm actually very, very cool with that. Thanks for the art fella and best wishes for the move. Hope you settle better than I, wouldn't wish this even on you know who. Oh, give it a couple of years to find anything really, really useful and urgently needed.
@gennepher your creative today is eerily like the thicket in me noggin. Emergency childcare rescheduling necessitated a trip into local supermarket - the one which is neither German discounter cheap, W quality (yes, I can tell the difference but not as you would like) or boasts that every little helps. Scared the manure outta me. No one way system, precious few masks or social distancing, people hawking and coughing left right and centre. Infection rate in this town? 769 per 100k - one wonders how. Yet early Saturday I shall be sitting in a tin can with 100s of strangers feeling less apprehensive than that experience. Why? My thought processes say one needs to have followed rules and had checks before getting on and staying on said tin can; people have paid thousands to travel and stay where we are going. I'm no snob/elitist but the value of the hound in the fight usually matters muchly.
The stays? It appears at least hereabouts the great unwashed have decided to stick them up their doodas. How does collecting my grandchildren from school or nursery turn out to be more scary than being confined in a tin can with strangers and living in a hotel usually full of German's. Russians and similarly aged Brits?TheMy answer is Boris, of course it is. It is as though I dreamed COVID happened and the barstewards didn't tell me. Apparently, buy enough dubious quality food and booze and COVID stays away - who knew?Anyhow, me and our next King allegedly both lurve Marmite and tomato sandwiches (on sourdough rye bread) and these/this song. The stays? How very droll.
Thanks Derek. One week because we have child and 91.9 year old minding duties here in paradise.Hi Ian,
Is that two weeks in sunny Cyprus, Ian?
I guess it's a rest so cars are out?
Whatever you get up to I am sure you'll both be ready for it after two years.
Best wishes
Derek
these are excellent - great researchFbg 6.3
Creative this morning.
Did the first part last night as usual.
Drew the trees with the Berol pen.
Sprayed with water, and soapy water.
The ink didn't spread, then suddenly it did, and I am trying to deal with the water runs.
Then I left it and went to sleep.
This morning I looked at it. I liked it as it was with no colour, but my intention had been to have one of those weak watery looking, but yet blinding sun in the middle.
So, I put the teeniest bit of yellow there.
It didn't look too bad.
Photographed it.
OMG, it was like a bright yellow cornfield in the sky...
White gouache paint next to get rid of this excessive yellow.
I think I need to research colour for a misty morning...
I think Naples yellow might do it.
I have some some somewhere....

@dogslife really good news that it wasn't cancer. Hopefully they will find the source of your pain very soon.Good morning@ianpspurs. Thank you so much for thinking of me. I was unable to respond earlier as I haven't been able to log in for several days due to a server error. ( Very frustrating!). So glad to be back in touch with everyone. My test went according to plan and I'm happy to report no cancer was found. It has not found the source of my pain and other symptoms but at least it is one hurdle over. I'm not sure what happens next until I hear from either the specialist who requested my test or my GP. Despite not eating anything at all for over 24 hours pre -test my blood sugars were 11.11. Maybe the 2 litres of moviprep that I had to swallow the evening before contained something? I have to say the hospital staff were very helpful and organised and I was given feedback from the doctor who performed the test immediately afterwards. Best wishes to all. I can now catch up on everyone's posts from the last few days. Yeh!
No, I haven't had any problems logging in.Me too! x I have been unable to get in to this forum for the last few days - I kept getting a server error - I don't know if anyone else has had the same but it seems to be working fine today
I have had the same problem@Mrs T 123. I sent several messages asking for help. Hi DerekHi Ian,
It was Paphos where Paul encouraged the Roman Proconsul, Sergius Paulus to become a Christian, according to the Acts of the Apostles.
I guess the villa remains that are near the Lighthouse are from the Roman period?
D.
