Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

I find it interesting that so many posts in response to this question have B/G readings in the morning that appear so low. I'm usually between 5.0 and 6.5 during the day - but the 'dawn effect' means that my B/G reading, say at about 08.00 hrs, can be between 7.0 and 8.0... what time are those saying they have low B/G levels in the morning taking these readings, and are they T1 or T2 and are they in remission? I am, and my B/G still get heigher in the morning - I am just 65 years and was diagnosed in April 2021... since then, with an original HbA1c of 63, at my last test I was 37 (5.5% mmol/l) and through weight loss and exercise into remission.
Exactly the same over here :O - can be a bit dispiriting at times ...
