When I started part one, there was a consensus from the government that because of the stats, it would seem to be all but over, the pandemic was on its last legs, the country was open and back to being normal!
Since part 3, all the scandals, the lies, the dead cat, smoke and mirrors, the parties and again for all to see, the clear and unnecessary lies, the rebellion, the resignations (thrown under the bus) the hypocrisy of denying resources to the NHS and care homes. Promising again that Christmas is not cancelled and a couple of minutes later, the chief epidemiology advisor advised the country to be sensible about gathering together for Christmas.
Then, as you were reading part 3, the delta variant had transformed into a new variant, which has crossed borders and is now rampant across the continent.
It has once again been brought by someone who was never tested at the source or arrival, even though it has been nearly a month since the new variant was found, the government once again, waited until it was already here, to bring restrictions back, but as usual from someone who has a house full of shielding wrinklies, we are back to being really careful again (for the third or fourth time) the masks should have never been dropped.
The government have also dropped the herd immunity scam, the testing is now under the NHS. And local health authorities, the organisation of the vaccine programme is under the NHS and while the doctors, nurses, volunteers were doing their bit for the nation's health.
The government and appointees were discussing the future privatisation of of the NHS with American health insurance companies. And a law was debated amongst many others, to change the administrative councils that health insurance companies have an open invitation to be involved. Along with the police bill, the racist immigration bill, the lack of civil rights and national insurance tax hikes, the power prices hikes, the cost of living crisis. And top the lot off, the lies they told about new hospitals, they are only refurbishing existing sites.
And the after effects of brexit are starting to hit us with the whole concept of being an independent country, taking back control of our borders and our trade.
It is slowly being realised that a trading nation relies on being realistic about negotiations, being open and free to trade. Business cannot afford to have obstacles, restrictions and masses of paper work to trade on equal terms. The Northern Ireland peace is under pressure due to the really stupid situation of still being in the free trade agreements and open borders with Ireland and the rest of Europe, whilst our government is openly backing down to Brussels, the talk of a United Ireland is something no one is in denial about.
The draconian measures of this government and the underhand dealings of our resources, the control, the numbers are increasing on universal credit and having to rely on food banks even though they are working. The lies about wages, but only for a few, the lies about people in work, the lies about why there are so many vacancies, which if you believe the government, it has nothing to do with brexit!
There are more millionaires, in parts of the capital, than low paid workers. Low paid workers cannot afford to live in these areas. And the cost of travelling every working day is too much. Even at capital transport prices.
If you are not aware, the boundaries and constituency commission has rejected the latest government attempt to reorganise the seats, because of to ensure that a Tory government will gain power despite only having a lower percentage of votes. Reducing the numbers of MPs, for the same reason. And it would mean a huge swing to Labour to even have a minority government with support from the SNP, Lib Dems, plaid cymru, and some Northern Ireland seats. Even the right wing reform party, would have no bearing on the results. Whereas brexit will have an impact.
I have read articles from good sources that the power behind the government are now realising that the country due to all the scandals, and the duping of the electorate, the lies and distortions, are becoming so similar to a dictatorship or a communist regime. If it's true, not only our so called democracy and our lives will change, but the thought that our government is pressing our judiciary to favour the government's decision making, in the law courts. Especially the highest court in the land. Even our House of Lords has been infested by New Tory peers, to pass the government's abuse of the parliamentary system and help push through the racist right wing policies that helps the power grab.
The continuing propaganda that everything is good in the economy, brexit is the best thing since sliced white bread for a T2 diabetic. And the blame for any problems is a left wing socialist attack on the government. And being made of Teflon, nothing up to recently sticks to the government. There is certain independent journalists that have started to be outspoken about the government's intentions and are using social networking to spread the word.
Because of our media is controlled by their owners, who are also backing the Tories, is even backing off the PMs leadership, bar one certain rag, that might as well be called, the Daily Tories. Or the content is definitely written by the Tory headquarters, when there isn't a party on!
And it will take time to be rid of the PM, because of extenuating circumstances.
