I will be having new meds to take soon one is Semaglutide and a tablet called something that started like progest, does anybody know what this is and what it does please. Thanks
If you had new meds prescribed & are unsure exactly what they are?
& you have an online account set up with your surgery to order repeats, why not check there. If they are prescribed, they may well be added to your list?

I have been told I would have new medication to take in January by a diabetic consultant I saw in December. He didn’t give me the name of them. I’ve been waiting for my gp to prescribe it but so far they said they haven’t received any instruction on this yet. I was asked to ring the diabetic specialist nurses with my bg readings and whilst doing that I mentioned that my drs had no note of the new medication. So she said they had been emailed on 22/12/21. I asked her the name of the medication and one was semaglutide and it sounded like the second one started with progest she was foreign so maybe I didn’t hear properly. That’s really just to reply to what people have said so far. Thank you.
