Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
Can you stop a Libre 2 early apart from starting a new one and accepting the prompt to stop the old one?
Can't find an option at the moment
I assume I could just force stop the Android App but that seems a little crude.

Having a CAT scan so I assume the sensor will have to come off

I don't believe there is a command on the LibreLink app to stop a sensor but, if you remove it physically, LibreLink will notice the sensor has stopped collecting. Actually, it will notice invalid data and error.

This causes no problems to LibreLink and will be noticed fast enough to have little impact on your historical data analysis.

Hi,

I've removed a sensor an hour early & replaced on the odd occasion.. (Purely a practicality coinciding with work schedule..)

I'll tag in @ianpspurs , he's had scans & uses a libre. But not sure of his approach or experience on premature removal & the app?
He could well give an insight.. ?

Thanks @Jaylee (I think). I have had a mixed experience in removing a sensor early but Abbott were very helpful. The first time I removed one before a scan it didn't go well. There was about a day left on the old one. After the scan I installed? a new one but the app refused to recognise it saying sensor expired. After emails and phone calls to Abbott a new one arrived. To be on the safe side I haven't tried that trick since. Probably confused more than helped. I'm infamous for that.

I will check with the scanner team before pulling it off.

I may have a rest between sensors for a few weeks as well.

I thought it would keep transmitting after being removed, so was wondering how the App would handle it.

Only about a day to go, anyway.

It should be perfectly fine if you just pull it off, it should stop getting readings very quickly - after all these things can also just get accidently knocked off - not like you can tell it to stop transmitting before that happens :)

Checked at the CT place and you have to remove them because there are reports of them overheating.

I've just turned alarms off and I'll wait for it to time out.

Timed out now so there should be no issues starting the next one.
