Sugar free pickles

Found these in Morrisons. Haven't seen them before. Seems totally sugar and sweetner free. Adds a nice tang. Only a 400g jar (other 'sour' pickles I've found come in 800g jars and go off before I can finish them)

Most pickles and relishes last longer if you put them in the fridge after opening them

We have a family recipe which came from a navy cook for pickled onions that does not use sugar, just plain old brown vinegar and salt and the secret mix of spices baggie.

We used to get a nice British piccalilli pickle here years ago, but it was taken off the shelves here for some reason ot other. I can't remember the name or I would try and find it on Amazon UK.

Home made pickled Onions/Shallots. Brine the onion/shallots for at least 24hrs, Malt vinegar, peppercorns, dried chilli (if you want them spicy. put veg in clean, dry glass jar. add spices, fill with malt vinegar, top up when needed as the onions will absorb some of the vinegar. Store at least 6 weeks before using

If you want to eat pickles without sugar, then try pickles from a country like Pakistan. It is so delicious that the man keeps licking his fingers. I went to Pakistan in 2021 to meet her at a friend's house, and he told me about this pickle which was very delicious to eat. I brought some jars with me for my parents. They also liked it very much.
