Change of medication

I have been using xultify for many years but my specialist nurse has decided I may get better results if by separating the insulin from the other element.

She has now prescribed Lantus and GLP1.

Could anyone tell me the best time of day to take the Lantus? I have been injecting at 1pm every day up until now.

I am T2.

I found by injecting my Lantus at teatime ( 6 pm ) I was quite regularly getting nocturnal hypos so changed to first thing in the morning ( 7 am ) and no more hypos, and my bg control has remained good !
