Bananas

I find that bananas increase my blood sugars more than other fruits. Having said that, they are great before the gym or if I have a hypo. You could try getting some baby bananas - smaller so less sugar!

Banana's are usually a big no no, especially when ripe. I used to eat a banana every day, I don't buy them now, they spike my BG's far too high.

A medium banana can be over 30g of carbs which is my daily allowance. GI value and carbs are affected by ripeness as the sugar content increases with ripening

All the best - Steve

My children used to refuse to eat them. But only because they knew if they waited long enough, I would turn them into a banana tea loaf. Warm, spread with butter...........

I like bananas and have tried to keep eating the, but they spike my blood sugar level. Even half a small one :(

I would say, try it, then test 2 hours later, and see what happens. We are all different.
