Don't worry, Lucy, it's probably the old Dawn Phenomenon hanging around. It took a while for mine to go down. If your daytime readings are okay, try not to worry too much and wait for your next HbA1c. You're nearly within NICE guidelines (4 - 7 fasting/before meals, less than 8.5 two hours after) so just keep at it! Well done on the weight loss!
