Hi all,

Hope you're all good.

So I got the results below from my latest blood work, but I don't quite understand them.

Does anyone know from the below if my creatine levels and kidney functions are normal, and if it's safe to take 5g or creatine a day based on those numbers? And also if my cholesterol is on the normal or high side.

Creatinine 94umol/L
Urine ACL - No Microalbuminuria

Total cholesterol
H 5.8
HDL 2.1
non-HDL 3.7

Many thanks

Different labs will have different reference ranges for their tests - along with the results, it should tell you what a "normal" range is for each test run. If it doesn't, you can ask your doctor about the results and whether it'd be safe for you to take the 5g of creatine.

If your doctor were concerned by the results, they would likely have contacted you about them already, but there's no harm in giving them a call when you're next able to.
