I feel so stupid and embarrassed to ask this!
I've been (type 1) diabetic for 10 years and never forgotten an injection, but for the life of me I can't remember whether I've done my lantus tonight or not - I usually take it at 6:00pm but it's been a rushed day and I remember coming into my room to do it but can't remember actually doing the injection as I did my humalog just before and it's all blurred together.... I'm leaning towards the fact that I've forgotten but I can't be sure and I'm kicking myself for being on autopilot.
Would it be safer to do a lantus injection (2 1/2 hrs late) and risk doubling the dose? Or should I assume I've done it & just test my blood sugar levels more?
I'm stressing! Help much appreciated xx
