Are my blisters type 2 related?

3am awoken by itchy thumb,by the time I woke in the morning small blisters appearing across the knuckle, some burst with clear liquid, within 1 to 2 hours turned to what looked like burst blood vessels beneath the skin around the thumb knuckle, swollen and hot. anything to do with my type 2 diabetes ??

I doubt it has anything to do with T2 directly, but T2 can make us a lot more prone to some odd infections.

The blisters sound like "Foot and Hand and mouth" a viral infection that usually affects children.

It could also be a type of eczema or a fungal infection.

If the blisters are still there in a few days I would go and see the Doc.
