i have been off work for 12 years battleing to get control of type 1. i am on 22 lantus in the morning and novorapid with food. while at home my control is okay, so i want to try going back to work... problem is the job i am going for is very physical and dont know how to ajust my insulin. i will be working 5 hours every other day. so can somebody tell me which insulin to ajust and roughly by how much and if i only have to do it on working days? when i am at home i am very sedantry...which accounts for taking 22 lantus.

Hey yeah I am on lantus and novo just now. To be honest you will have to get out to work and do it as the days good. Adjust your novo to keep the control throughout the day and the lantus for at night times. Your nurse should be able to look at your results and give you a more educated answer! Just take it slow! Enjoy!
