Use for old blood monitors

Hi All,

As a diabetic of 11 years, I have acquired mand old blood monitors which firstly I will not use as I am quite attached to my newer model, but also, I have no idea what to do with any of these old monitors.

Does anyone know of any charities or somewhere I can send these to??

Any leads would be appreciated

Ask DUK. It's the kind of thing they may know. If strips for your models are no longer available, they may be absolutely useless.

i think there should be a way of sending old testers abroad like they do glasses i have also asked about this but there is no charity who accepts them :!:

It might be a idea to start something your self and send them to poorer country's

Seems there are a few organisations who apparently are happy to accept donations of used meters (and unopened test strips)
