Arrogant/unhelpful people. Spiders/bugs basically anything with 6-8 legs. Creeps me out.
Hate mud unless I'm camping oddly

Have a look at the coeliac uk website. If you register you get 6 months free, a free food directory to help you get started and they send you a sample hamper so you can try a lot of the products to see what you like best.

How are you finding it?

I have already signed up to them, but thanks for the advice. I'm finding it very daunting and emotional, as I've never really accepted being diabetic. As I'm sure in a lot of areas, sadly very few people understand or even know about it. There's very little resources either.

Agreed. I've not been on here long but from the people I chat to on here everyone seems really helpful and supportive. I think you can only really understand what a person goes through if you've been through or are going through it yourself.

Hope you get a little settled soon. If i can give you any other advice on where to get foods from or eating out feel free to PM me :D

Thanks faith!! Your a star!

Also thanks again Brett :)

I've been buying alot of foods that are gluten free.. I never realised how much **** was in food before I was diagnosed with diabetes allthough I didn't indulging in fatty foods or carby foods the things I thought where good actually had as much **** in than the 'bad foods' I've always thought I've had a gluten intolerance as every time I ate bread or pasta or anything like cakes (which wasn't often) I always bloated and got terrible tummy aches after but my doctors at the time were so rubbish it took them 2 and a half years to ralise I had type 1!! But I've taken my health into my own hands with the help of my specialist...

Anyway...

WhatNotToEat sorry to hear of your situation.. But stick around on this site there are many who can offer advise or even just be there for you to talk to someone there are lots of amazing people here just ask whatever you need to know and someone will help you..

Best wishes to all of you :)
