Massive Change and improvement

I have not posted anything on here for a while but I had my quarterly HBA1C test result on friday and had to tell the world about the results.

I was diagnosed on November 7th with an HBA1C level of 13.9.

Since then I have kept to a low carb diet and lost lots of weight. My new HBA1C level is 6.

Yessssssssss 6

Thank you Guys. I cant believe how much better I feel. I was still worrying though that my results may have come back less positive and how I would have felt after putting so much effort in.

Hi Red well done fantastic achievement! I dont know if you test your blood glucose levels but for me it has been a great help as I feel I would have crept back up to high levels without noticing it until its too late. Keep strong Montana

Well. Almost a year since diagnosis and what a roller coaster of a year it has been. Nov 7 2012 hba1c at diagnosis 13.9. Feb 2013 hba1c 6. Oct 2013 hba1c 8.1
