Generally, carbohydrates are an essential part of a "balanced diet."

For diabetics, normal carbohydrate intake should be controlled since they directly influence your BGL. the name of the eating game is "everything in moderation." Sugar is a carbohydrate and, if possible, you should eat foods that have little or better yet, no sugar.

i was advised on diganosis, to watch the sugar per 100g and i have never even looked at the carb reading, however when i hopefully change from the novomix30 regime to the bolus, this is (i am told) the main think counting the carbs.... i may be wrong
