Looks great, the same concept as the contraceptive implant in some way (in the sense that it sits under the skin) but I do wonder about how often it would need replaced and how we would get the readings. Would you just log onto a computer and see what your sugar levels are right there and then?

Form what I have read up n this device and another out there it will communicate using NFC, which is near field communication, basically a very low power radio to a device just the other (outside) of the skin. This device will then talk to your phone/monitor/pump via Bluetooth. All seems quite good fun to me (an engineer so I enjoy this type of toy), progress to a semi or fully automated pancreas replacement :)

I need one of these! I hypo so much and often don't have symptoms, so it would save alot of strips i think! (if this is the idea? its late and my mind is abit boggled with the amount of hypos today) :mrgreen: :oops:
