Is it possible to safely inject insulin through severely stretch marked/thinned skin? I have this on my thighs, stomach well basically all over caused by steroid dependantcy / cushings syndrome and I'm about to start insulin on Monday so I'm trying to pre-emt anything that may come up with the DSN.

Personally I find it's less painfully on a stretch mark .

Make sure you move around and pinch it up as I find it doesn't hurt so much and don't press down with the needle, push it in then push the injection in but not the needle. Try it with an orange until you can do it. Count to 10 to make sure the insulin has gone in then take out the needle. Make sure you move it all around the fatty areas though, don't stick in one place.
