I booked a holiday in italy several months before I was diagnosed as a type 1.5 . I am on metformin and ripaglinide, latter only before evening meal. Consultant does not want me to go on insulin yet as bms fairly controlled but still can be v unpredictable. What sort of foods can I have when i go to italy. I don't particularly low carb (bar not having too much pasta and rice) as I lost a lot of weight when i was diagnosed and as I was already v slim them, am still underweight now. Any tips greatly appreciated.
