It's ok to have the odd anything. Especially on holiday. Ice cream is actually not as bad as many people think. Diabetes is a bummer but you still need to live. I wouldn't let it ruin my hols. I'd just maybe cut back a little on something else

The only way to find out how it affects you is to test .If you really want to eat ice cream try a small portion of good quality ,some ice cream has no cream at all !

I do have the odd ice cream, though eat one as a treat after food, as with me they send my numbers high.

Hi celast, try asking if they have lactose and sugar free ice cream, the gelateria near me does and as long as it doesn't have fruit in it doesn't seem to affect my bs.:grin:
