the confusion about what and what not to eat, provided by others who know it all!
I've been type 1 for 3 years now and have taken a DAFNE course, my bloods are fine I manage to keep them at a good level, mainly below 10, average 6-7, so I'm not complaining, I eat almost whatever I want, in moderation of course, I am on Humalog MDI and lantus in the evening daily. but I am experiencing tiredness and I can't fathom out why?

Is it just the diabetes? does everyone experience this form of tiredness? I'm wondering if it's something else? I am on thyroxine too, but my last check (about 10m ago) was ok.

Just looking for some possible causes. any ideas.... someone experiencing the same etc.?

Difficult to know, if it's bad and causing you concern you should discuss with your gp/consultant.

Lantus CAN cause tiredness in SOME users that have reported this symptom and it may be worth searching threads on here and on Google and seeing if there is any similarity.

Stress and feeling exhausted.
I have terrible trouble with tiredness and have had numerous checks and tests to find out why.
My GP told me that other patients with diabetes say that they suffer from tiredness and feeling groggy too, even though their blood sugars are fine. I have also found that some consultants assume tiredness is associated with low thyroid production, even if your blood test readings are fine. This is because the thyroid tablets issued don't cover all aspects of low thyroid production by the body.
I think you should mention it to your GP or Endocrinologist so that they can check to see whether any other auto immune conditions are responsible if the tiredness becomes unbearable. :)

Sorry, I should have typed -
'This is because the thyroid tablets issued don't cover all aspects of natural thyroid production by the body'.

Doctors who know less about diabetes and endocrinology than their patients.
I just noticed you were on statins too, they might be the cause of the fatigue. Statins can have some rather unpleasant side effects and can make a mess out of the whole endocrine system. Might be a good thing to review the use of those if all else fails to reverse the fatigue.
