Having my first one post diagnosis tomorrow. Visiting relatives and no get out clause. What should I order? Tandoori mixed grill works well for Indian but suspect Chinese might be a bit of an issue. Suspect even a mixed veggies might come in a sugar sauce.

There is a Chinese takeaway thread with lots of suggestions.
Spare ribs sounds good and meat, veg, black bean sauce should keep me going.

Chop suet should be ok. Mixed veggies and beansprouts especially with prawns. Just avoid the special fried rice (which was always my favourite :( )

Go for Beef, Chicken or Prawns (whichever you prefer) with vegetables (sweet corn, mange tout, mushrooms or broccoli) and instead of rice have a portion of bean sprouts or bamboo shoots. Salt & pepper spare ribs is a good starter but avoid all sticky sweet sauces.
