I have just been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetis.Can anyone advise me as to where I can buy a sugar substitute called Acesulfame-K possibly known as Sweet One,also does anyone using this product know of any disadvantages in using this product.

Hi Ken, welcome to the forum, I have not come across the product you mentioned, but I googled it and as usual there is a lot of conflicting "facts" about it, I suggest you also google it, and then you can make an informed decision.

Hi There,Thanks for your reply,I got the product name from the Diabetics UK sight,and the write up is very good it seems to be the best sugar substitute for diabetics that there is.Splenda comes a close second.
